一、学校概括
五邑大学地处“中国第一侨乡”—广东省江门市，是珠江三角洲西岸唯一一所以工科为主的多科性教学型地方大学。学校1985年建校，1990年成为学士学位授予单位，1993年开始接收外国留学生， 1998年成为硕士学位授予单位。
Wuyi University (WYU) is located in Jiangmen, Guangdong, China, the No. 1 homeland of overseas Chinese. It is the only teaching-oriented, multi-discipline and predominantly engineering-oriented regional university in the west of Pearl River Delta. It was founded in 1985, and it was authorized to confer bachelor's degrees in 1990 and to recruit overseas students in 1993; in 1996, it passed the State Education Commission’s evaluation of its undergraduate education; in 1998, it was authorized to confer master's degrees; and in 2008, it passed with honors the evaluation of its undergraduate education by the Ministry of Education.
学校占地1000余亩，拥有工、理、经、管、文、法、艺术等7个学科门类，设有17个教学院（部），70个本科专业（方向），6个一级学科硕士学位授权点，27个二级学科硕士学位授权点，2个专业硕士学位类别。现有4个国家特色专业建设点，3个省级重点学科，4个省级名牌专业，8个省级特色专业建设点，13个省级实验教学示范中心。拥有全国科教兴国示范基地，广东省侨乡文化研究基地，中华文化传承基地等。学校面向全国21个省、自治区、直辖市及港澳地区和台湾省招收本科生，面向国内外招收研究生。现有各类在籍学生2.4万余人，其中全日制本科生1.8万余人，研究生300多人。
The WYU campus covers a land area of 1000 mu (around 60 hectares)，a total construction area of 600，000 square meters. The university has established 17 teaching faculties covering engineering, science, economics, management, liberal arts, law and fine arts, with 45 bachelor programs, 6 level-one-discipline master-degree academic categories including 27 research master degree programs and 4 applied engineering programs. Up to the present, WYU has founded 4 national-level specialty programs, 3 provincial-level key disciplines, 1 provincial-level key program, 13 provincial-level experimental teaching centers. WYU has also served as a national-level “Revitalize the Nation through Science and Education" model base, Guangdong Overseas Chinese culture research base and Chinese culture cultural inheritance base. Currently WYU recruits undergraduate students from 21 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in mainland China and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and graduate students from all over China. Currently WYU has an enrollment of 24000, of whom 18000 are full-time undergraduate students, about 300 are graduate students.
学校现有在职教职工1000余人，其中专任教师800余人，具有高级职称的教师占专任教师比例近40％，具有硕、博学位的教师占专任教师比例近80％。

学校努力建设 “应用型人才培养特色鲜明、服务地方产业发展能力突出的广东省高水平工科大学”。
（一）重点打造轨道交通、先进制造、智能信息技术、生产性服务业特色专业群。
（二）重点建设“大健康产业及清洁生产技术”“新型材料及元器件”“轨道交通装备及技术”等与地方产业发展密切相关的特色学科，服务创新驱动发展。
（三）积极组建新型研发机构。与地方政府、国内外高水平大学、科研院所和龙头企业，共同建立“江门市大健康国际创新研究院”、“江门市新材料及装备产业研究院”、“广东轨道交通装备与技术研究院”、“江门市智能制造创新研究院”等新型研发机构。
Schools strive to build the high level Engineering College of Guangdong Province, which is characterized by the cultivation of applied talents with distinctive characteristics and the development of local industry.
1 Focus on building rail transportation, advanced manufacturing, intelligent information technology, producer services specialty groups.
2 Focus on the construction of "big health industry and clean production technology of new materials and components" and "rail transportation equipment and technology" and the development of local industry is closely related to the characteristics of discipline, service innovation driven development.
3 Actively set up new R & D institutions. With the local government, domestic and foreign high level universities, research institutes and enterprises, jointly set up a "Jiangmen City Health International Innovation Research Institute, Jiangmen City New Materials and Equipment Industry Research Institute, Guangdong rail transportation equipment and Technology Research Institute, Jiangmen Institute of intelligent manufacturing innovation" model research mechanism.

三、人才类别及待遇

学校引进高层次人才以柔性引进或全职引进两种方式。引进的高层次人才除享受广东省、江门市人才引进政策优惠外，按照学校高层次人才引进政策，还将提供以下待遇：
1、采用“一人一议”的方式确定薪酬，最低年薪30万元人民币起(税前)。
2、根据需要，给予相应科研启动费支持，配备必要的工作场地和实验室。
3、提供周转房一套或住房补贴。
4、按照广东省及江门市高层次人才引进相关政策享受出入境、医疗保险、配偶安置、子女就读及落户的相关待遇。
